When it comes to professional football, there is no higher honor than making it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  The way to do this is to be judged as having a significant impact on the game itself or the era that the player played in.

Another thing that may happen to a player who dominates an era, or a decade, is that they end up being named to the NFL All-Decade Team.  The 1960s were a great era in the NFL.  A number of the greatest legends of the game played during that decade.  The 1960s NFL All-Decade Team is a great example of some of the greatest players ever.  Find out who was good enough to be named to the All-Decade team but not good enough to make it into the Hall of Fame.
