This is a great question, one every man should be asked or ask themselves. Why DO we open car doors for you? Clearly you have functioning arms and legs of your own, so opening it yourself shouldn’t present much of a problem. Besides, having us open the door means you have to wait while we get out of the car and run around to your side, just to open a door that you could have opened yourself in about two seconds. Seriously, does it make ANY sense?

Not much! Not much until you realize that opening car doors for you is a small gesture that opens up…a different world.

Let me explain.

Opening a car door is a manly, romantic gesture. Contrary to popular belief, men need a little romance and fantasy in their lives once in a while too. A little gesture like opening a car door, offering you our jacket, or paying for dinner makes us feel like romance is not dead, that once in a while we can act like romantic men and have it appreciated.

Why do we like this?

Maybe because being romantic transports us back to an age when (in our heads) everything was glamorous and sexy, when we got to be men and women got to be women. An age, perhaps, when the rules were fairer, and clearer, and if you wore a sharp suit and a great hat and opened car doors, you’d get a gorgeous girl who’d hang off your arm, giggle at all your jokes, and make you feel like a man.

Similarly with paying for dinner.

A lot of young, single women make as much money as men do these days, so why do men still often pay for dinner, particularly on a first date? Is it to make you feel obliged to let us cop a feel on your front step when we drop you home?

Well, that might be a small part of it…

But a bigger part of it is that, again, paying for dinner is a romantic gesture that makes us feel like men. What paying for dinner means is this: I’m powerful; I’m in control. It was my idea to have dinner, it was my idea where to go to eat, and I have the money to pay for whatever I like.

The thing is that the modern day world sometimes makes men feel like they don’t get to be men anymore. Women have important jobs too, sometimes more important than ours, and they earn money and make decisions and (sometimes) have promiscuous sex just like we do. Some of the space and some of the roles that used to be ours and ours alone now have to be shared. Overall, that’s undoubtedly a good thing, but it can make us feel like we’re more and more peripheral, without much of a real identity.

As you might have guessed by now, a simple thing like opening a car door actually reveals a lot about deep dark male psychology! And in case you were wondering, if you want the men around you to be happy and treat you well, give them a chance to act like the romantic men they secretly want to be once in a while. Let them know you appreciate it and you’ll definitely enjoy the consequences!

Pretty much after 1986 most all vehicles went to Fuel Injection. Then everyone said goodbye to Carbuerators. Fuel Injection is alot easier to work on and diagnose then the old carbuerators. Carbuerator rebuilding was pretty expensive. Fuel Injection cleaning was faster and alot less expensive. Actually it also depended on what type of fuel system cleaning the auto shop had. Some shops had the regular 3 can cleaning system. While others had a very big and clumsy expensive machine they used.

I really liked useing the 3 can system cleaning method. It involved adding one can to the fuel tank as a fuel additive. The second can was hooked up to a high pressure source and sprayed straight into the upper intake and upper plenum area and scrubbed by hand. The third can was hooked into the cars vacum system where it was sucked down in to alot of the intake system and down around the intake and exhaust valves. There it would soak and bubble up for about 20 minutes. Then we would start the car after the 3rd can soaked and watched all the black carbon blow out the tailpipe!

After changing the fuel filter, (for an additional charge) , I could not beleive the power that was restored after this fuel system cleaning process! Just slightly pushing on the accelerator the car wanted to jump right out of the shop and take offon its own. I think it cost around $80 or $90 bucks back then but it was well worth the moneyin my opinion!

There are many options available for removing unwanted body hair. For many the tediousness of removing body hair is a life long pain. Using shavers seems so old school and is a big hassle because it must be done all the time. Facial hair is a bigger problem because then you need creams, and waxing hurts like crazy and also does not offer a permanent solution to hair removal.

Laser hair removal is the best option for permanent hair removal and the laser hair removal cost while high can save more money in the long run. Also insurance often pays for laser hair removal.

It is an outpatient treatment that is performed in a safe setting, and many people have no new hair growth after just a couple of treatments.

Build family communication and togetherness by having a weekly toy game hobby night. It is so easy these days to let work, school, and the business of life rule the day, that we can easily lose touch with each other. If we get together one night each week for a toy game hobby night, we can rekindle those family ties.

Those families with small children will probably focus more on the toy aspect of the toy game hobby night. Take the time to get down on the floor and play with those youngsters. Cuddle those dollies and call yourself “grandma” or “grandpa.” Push those trucks around and pretend right along with the kids. If your back can take it, let them take turns riding you like a horse while you crawl around and neigh. Every kid loves that!

On summer evenings, try toy game hobby night in the sand box at the park. Using an old mesh produce bag, collect a variety of suitable sand toys to take along. These toys include various containers, a few wheeled vehicles, toy garden tools, and cast-off kitchen utensils. In the sandbox with your kids, you can create towns with roads, castles, or just about anything.

Modeling dough is also a great activity for toy game hobby night. Collect some small cookie cutters and old jar lids (for pans) and create fancy cookies and desserts – inedible and calorie-free, of course! The kids can turn a large box on it’s side for a counter and place the goodies on display to sell. Of course, you’ll pretend to buy, eat, and enjoy!

Some fun games for family night include card games like Uno, board games like Candy Land or Life, and dominoes. When choosing games to play there are several things to consider. Is Scrabble, for instance, fun for everyone, or does all the spelling and thinking feel like work to some of the players? Does the game take forever to play, so that some players’ attention spans play out? Does the game encourage merciless competition, like Monopoly, leaving losers feeling left out? It’s important for kids to learn how to lose and still have fun. Don’t “throw” the game, intentionally letting them win all the time, but don’t mercilessly beat them every time either. Make it fun. If losing is a problem for some of the kids, check out some of the new cooperative games where everyone is on the same team.

Hobbies are also great to share as a family. Maybe your family would be interested in pursuing musical skills together. Families make great singing groups because their voices match well. If that’s not for you, maybe you’d all enjoy fishing. Square dancing is fun for some families, while others enjoy playing badminton or other active games and sports. The important thing is to have fun together.

Having a toy game hobby night every week will help you stay close to your kids as they grow up. It will keep the bond of love fresh and the lines of communication open. Plan a toy game hobby night this week! – buy girls toys online

Everyone loves a special gift on their birthday: especially our kids! I have put together a list of 10 memorable gifts you can gift your children on their birthday without breaking the bank.

Art supplies: almost all kids enjoy crayons, markers, stickers, colored pencils, gel pens, special papers and scissors, sidewalk chalk, water colors, homemade rubber stamps, “how to draw” books calligraphy instructions, or origami instructions and colored paper. An art supply gift not only encourages the youngsters to use their imagination, but it can be an extra treat when you spend time with them using them.

Books are always great gifts for any age: you can get musical or squeaky books for the little ones, short stories for preschoolers, adventure books for 9-11 year olds, and so on: there is a book for every taste. You can also buy books about your child’s interests, books about careers, etc.

A classic movie, which never goes out of style, great for when friends come over, or on that day when they are bored and nothing else could help.

For older boys, a tool kit would be great: gives them the opportunity to work side by side with dad, and possibly learn a life skill.

For older girls, beads could mean hours of fun. Buy a variety of colors and shapes and watch you little princess enjoy hours of happiness.

To the gourmand give a roll of sugar cookie dough from the grocery store, along with a couple of cookie cutters, and a rolling pin. Again, this would be a lot of fun for the little one to make, and share with friends and family.

For the nature lover, a gardening kit with a couple of small pots filled with potting soil, some seeds, and a plastic watering can give countless hours of fun, while caring for the plants, and watching them grow.

A disposable camera will add a boost to the party. If your budget permits, add a small picture album, and you’ve instantly created wonderful memories of that birthday.

A basket of fun: find an inexpensive basket, or another container, maybe a pail for kids and fill it with fun, cheap stuff. For instance, silly putty, a water gun, a deck of cards, sidewalk chalk, etc. For boys, you can add some little cars and for girls, throw in some hair accessories. Finish it off with some candy or a pez dispenser and you have a fun gift. If you find some fun, small things that most kids think are neat, pick up a bunch so that at any time you have a supply of items to mix and match for a birthday.

Children crave attention from important people in their lives, (mom, dad, grandparent, aunt, older sibling). Give that special child the gift of time: a day out with you complete with lunch, a movie, and/or shopping for the gift of
their choice. – new baby gift basket / new baby gift

Experienced bridging loans agent is something what every potential homeowner or experienced real estate investor is obligate to have. There is no shortage of agents around and they come in all shapes and sizes with various personalities . What people do not recognised is that if they deal with fair bridging loan consultant it should really produce an impactin your attitude about taking a bridging loan.

Cooperation with a good loan agent you will get no stress bridging loan process and they will be able to
explain it all to you simply and easily. There are few simplethings that will letyou right away if your bridging adviser is good or not.
Easiest techniques to judge a bridging loans broker is just
with common sense. Does your consultant like to talk and have thrilled point of view?

Time keeping is important and someone missing dates can be infuriating.

Whenever your adviser says he will call at 1 pm and they miss it
every time,it might be a problem.. You need your loan on time.

The broker should be able to list off bridging loans and programs by heart as well. It iss not a good sign if they are flipping through a book every few minutes to look up terms and conditions. Be careful during final appointment.

Contiguous way to tell if your bridging loan your broker is good is to
be sure they are willing to answer all question
.

Try ask him something a few times in one sitting just to see what they do. .

Nobody really enjoys wading through the multitude of forms involved with comparing and buying life insurance; but remembering a few of our basic pointers can lessen both the nuisance and the cost.

A good place to start is to discover what the policy excludes. Often, customers focus solely on what a policy covers. They ignore the exclusions. However, being fully informed can save you hassle if you have to file a claim. Read the policy for yourself and have your agent explain it to you. Then you can discuss whether upgrading to include specific exclusions is in your best interest.

Annually, you should reflect on what your life insurance needs are. Each year might bring different needs, and your current policy should be updated each year to reflect that. Ideally, your life insurance agent would introduce the topic, but you can’t rely on them to do so. Be prepared with your own analysis.

Remember, as with anything, you usually get what you pay for so don’t be fooled by exceptionally low prices. Life insurance policies are not all alike and they can differ greatly so be sure that you are comparing like products. That affordable term life insurance quote is an entirely different product than the more expensive whole life policy. If one company is charging a lot less than the others selling similar policies, you want to proceed with caution!

Amazingly, using the Internet to search for policies can save you money. Some companies offer 15%-45% discounts. There are various comparison sites, so investigate a little to see what’s available. A quoting service can help guarantee that you are receiving the best value for your money. These service sites provide comparisons between cost and coverage for major companies. Seeing the difference in black and white from can help make your decision easy. Just remember, the cheapest life insurance plan you’re quoted may not necessarily be the best one for your particular case, so always do your due diligence before buying.

Should a decision be made to go with another company, remember that there is always a fee associated with leaving a contract. The amount of the penalty is usually based on the length of time remaining on the deal. In other words, if you can wait until your current deal is done, that is the time to strike.

You should also not switch life insurance companies too often because you’ll land up paying more. Establishing a long-term relationship with one insurance company can earn you discounts and over time these discounts can be substantial. So do change insurance companies if there is a good reason, but don’t do it on the fly.

You need to be honest when filling out your life insurance application. Don’t skip any important details. For instance, saying you are a non-smoker when this is not true would result in the claim payout being rejected should one ever be filed. You would be the one who would lose out, not the insurer.

When you receive your new policy, be sure to look it over thoroughly to ensure that your coverages are correct. If you have any questions or concerns, or if something looks to be incorrect, call your agent for assistance.
